Thomas Town is the name of two Thomas and Friends theme parks in Japan, located in Shinmisato and Kurashiki. The Kurashiki location is a smaller attraction known as "Thomas Town Mini." The Shinmisato location was the second Thomas and Friends theme park in Japan (after Thomas Land at Fuji-Q Highland amusement park in Fujiyoshida), and opened on the 17th of September, 2009. It covers a 772 square-metre site within the new Lala Port Shinmisato shopping mall.
