Pain of the Gods is a Justice League storyline written by Chuck Austen with illustrations by Ron Garney. It's published in the JLA series following John Byrne's arc The Tenth Circle and Joe Kelly's story Elitism. This is followed by Kurt Busiek's storyline Syndicate Rules. The story deals with each member of the League confronting their greatest failures.
