Brad Cochran is a former American college football player who was a defensive back for the University of Michigan for four seasons during the 1980s. As a senior in 1985, Cochran was recognized as a consensus All-American. Cochran was born in Royal Oak, Michigan. After graduating from Michigan, Cochran signed a three-year contract with the Los Angeles Raiders in July 1986, but broke his back during the fourth pre-season game, ending his professional career.
