When a meteor strikes the ship of Vance, and his brother asthmatic Kenny whom he picks on continually for being bookish and weak, they land their ship in a deep crater on the Moon. Thinking to seek out astronauts who went missing on the Moon, Kenny and Lance put on their helmets and blasters to look about. Vance takes his helmet off, despite Kenny's protestations. Vance breaths in the air, feeling fine. However, he falls unconscious. As Kenny goes to put Vance's helmet back on him, Space Age Pirate points a gun at him. Space Age Pirate tells Kenny his plans to collect the ships from the travelers who fall trap to the crater's naturally soporific air.
