Zuko returned home to the Fire Nation after the Fire Nation's spectacular victory at Ba Sing Se. Despite winning his father's praise, however, Zuko found no consolation at this prospect. After a great deal of emotional turbulence, Zuko finally abandoned the Fire Nation and joined the Avatar's quest to defeat the Fire Lord.
