SGC-902-36-G was a nameless, planetless M8 dwarf star forty light-years from the nearest inhabited star system. While otherwise insignificant and of no value to anyone, it was however home to a never before observed hyperspace phenomenon: the 'SGC-902-36-G Wormhole Anomaly' (or 'The Twins'). The system was controlled by the Mesan Alignment proxy state, the Republic of Mannerheim, and was picketed by Battlecruiser Squadron 6 of the Mannerheim System-Defense Force.
