The Luhor Web is a Rakatan superweapon. The Rakatan Starfleet all orient themselves facing a "lense" ship and discharge all their laser and ionic fire. The "lense" ship uses powerful gravitational field generators to alter the paths of the beams heading toward it and concentrates them on a crystalline core. This core heats up and reaches a critical temperature at which it discharges its pent-up energy in a single, Death-Star like blast.
