The Blastech E-12 blaster rifle was the 12th model in the Blastech E-Series blaster rifles. The first model was produced around 1 ABY, and was bought in large stocks by the Galactic Empire. The weapon was a standard issue for the Empire's Cyclone Legion, an elite legion of stormtroopers. Some Imperial officers such as CC-1029, also carried an E-12. The E-12 was soon out dated however by the E-13 blaster rifle which came out in 2 ABY.
