Barry Dennen is an American actor, singer, and writer. He is widely known for playing Pontius Pilate in both the Broadway and movie versions of Jesus Christ Superstar, in 1970 and 1973, respectively. He's also done voice roles for animated series such as Animaniacs, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload.
