Wizardry IV: The Return of Werdna is one of the most unusual computer RPGs. The player is not commanding a party of heroes, but the evil wizard Werdna who was defeated in Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord. Werdna has to escape a deep dungeon in which he became entombed. His adversaries are heroes based on the character classes of the previous Wizardry games.
