Mr Gupta was a shopkeeper to whom Derek Wilton tried to sell wares on his first day working for Chuckles Novelties. Derek gave an enthusiastic pitch, demonstrating a nail through head and chattery teeth, but his salesmanship barely raised a smile from the stoic shop proprietor, not least because he already had a box full of chattery teeth which weren't selling well. Derek's next demonstration was even more disastrous - after showing off the delights of a stripper pen from his "adult section", Derek was ordered to leave the shop with his "pornography".
