The Caves of the Craven are an enormous network of caves and tunnels located beneath the Calphiak Mountains of western Varisia. The main inhabitants of the Caves are countless tribes of goblins who raid both the nearby human communities of the Velashu River valley above, and the troglodyte realm of Kuvhoshik in Nar-Voth below. The Caves also have a connection to ancient history, as they were the escape route for the group of elves from Celwynvian who chose to escape the imminent impact of the Starstone by fleeing deep undergound.
