Rowan is the second eldest of the Redfern siblings that appear in Daughters of Darkness, with Ash being the oldest. The leader of the female Redfern siblings, she is headstrong and the brains of the group. She ran away alongside her sisters from their home and together they moved to Briar Creek to live with their Aunt Opal.
