The Miltian Conflict was a catastrophic and devastating war event that occurred on Old Miltia in the year T.C. 4753 (fourteen years prior to Xenosaga), with origins in the mysterious Zoar Incident in T.C. 4730. The main impetus of the conflict was the power struggle between the Immigrant Fleet descendants who traditionally held power on Miltia, and the Galaxy Federation attempting to extend its control over the planet. The military arm of the Immigrant Fleet, the U-TIC Organization, began buildup on Miltia to maintain their independence from the Federation.
