Niduen was an elf and one of the few members of Arya's family left. She was of lower rank than Arya, but still an aristocrat. She was a famous weaver and sent Eragon a gift of Lámarae clothing upon his arrival in Du Weldenvarden. Bellaen du Hljödhr also mentioned her in the welcome letter they sent to Eragon.
