Dúrin's Pick was one of the sacred Hallows of the Longbeards.It was the Pick smithed and used by Dúrin I when he started to delve the Halls of Khazad-Dum.The Pick was rescued by refugees who escaped from Moria after the invasion of Durin's Bane but eventually got lost when these refugees were waylaid on their way to the Ered Luin.Legend had it that the Dwarf who was the last bearer of Dúrin's pick vanished in the Barrow-Downs.
