The President of the Majatran Republic of Badara is the head of state and government of the Republic of Badara. He/she is elected every 5 years after the general elections by the National Assembly through the exhaustive balloting method. He/she is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed forces of the Republic of Badara. The office was revived after a 13 year flirtation with monarchy and the post was returned with increased powers The Presidents official residence is the Diwan al-Hadra (Green Palace), located in south central Majatra. The current and second President is Aisha Qahtani
