The Lindy Hop is a dance performed on Dancing with the Stars. A member of the Swing dance family, the Lindy Hop was originated in the 1920's in the United States in Harlem, New York. A fun and highly energetic dance, includes many of the popular swing moves such as rock steps, triple steps, and lindies. Difficult lifts and partner-assisted flips are allowed and encouraged. The Lindy Hop was introduced to Dancing with the Stars in Season 8. It was not performed again until Season 15.
