Power Rangers: Turbo is the fifth season in the long-running Power Rangers franchise of television shows. The show was prefaced with the second movie in the franchise, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. Like its predecessors, Power Rangers: Turbo included footage from the Japanese television show Super Sentai, in Turbo's case from the twentieth series, Gekisou Sentai Carranger. The series featured the depature of the long running characters Zordon and Alpha-5 as well as the team of Rangers, sans Justin, and introduced four new characters to take the place of veteran Rangers with the 18th episode.
