"impact" or "shock") is a recurring element in the series, usually used as one of the four elemental spell types, though some titles use Wind in its place. The two spell types coexist in Megami Ibunroku Persona, where the element is called File:Blast Icon P1.png Blast due to the term "Force" covering a wider arrangement of spells that includes Blast. Aesthetically, Force spell animations look more like the traditional wind spell since Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
