Teff Kavillian was a Human male fleet admiral from Rhen Var, a snow covered planet in the Outer Rim Territories. Teff had a humorous personality. He came from a generation of military ancestors. His family owned a castle on Rehn Var, Cast Castle. Teff got married soon after he joined the Republic Navy, and had a child, Ace Kavillian, who became a famous TIE pilot in the Imperial Navy. Before that, Ace served on the Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Star of the Senate, along with Teff. The cruiser became under attack and Teff died when the Star Destroyer crashed on the planet Vassek. Teff's body fell out of the bridge and into a ravine, so Ace and his search and rescue party never found the body.
