Abram Rust is the king's forester who lives in the Green Cloak forest. Karigan G'ladheon meets him when she stops at the waystation before reaching the town of North. He is a massive man who appears as broad as he is tall. He has black eyes, bushy brows, and tangled gray whiskers. He dresses in brown and gray and carries a huge ax. Abram greets Green Riders at the waystation to seek news. He tells Karigan stories of Riders he knew in the past and points out local flora.
