The Cv Barroso (designated as V-34) is a corvette of the brazilian navy. Currently, the Barroso it's the only ship of his class. The name is in honor of the Admiral Francisco Manuel Barroso da Silva, the baron of Amazonas, that played a great role during the Battle of Riachuelo at the Paraguayan War.
