Statler was one of the founding and charter members of the Stuntwomens Association of Motion Pictures in 1967 alongside fellow Star Trek stuntwomen Regina Parton and Donna Garrett. She performed stunts in films such as Cheyenne Autumn (1964, with Ricardo Montalban and Charles Seel), Blake Edwards' The Great Race (1965, with Robert Herron, Clegg Hoyt, Charles Seel, and stunts by Dick Crockett, Dick Dial, Chuck Hicks, Carey Loftin, Hal Needham, Gil Perkins, Ronald R.
