The Knights of Steccino was a criminal organization that operated out of Corellia in the days of the Old Republic. Founded back in the Pre-Republic era, it began as a sort of religious order. The original knights, led by Lemani Chesever, saw themselves as sanctified assassins, killing in the name of a higher power. They followed strict codes on killing; the death of the unarmed or the innocent was frowned upon, for instance, and each knight was expected to study their victim in detail before killing, and to list the victims accomplishments, both good and bad, before the rest of the knights.
