The Alshir system, located in Ojoster sector on the Outer Rim of the galaxy, contained the planet of Bad Alshir. Centered around Alshir, an aging K-type main sequence star, its five worlds were fairly resource-poor and unremarkable save for their proximity to an old Tarisian hyperlane. It was one of the first Republic star systems to fall under Mandalorian control during the Neo-Crusaders' initial assault of the Mandalorian Wars. After the Mandalorian clans were defeated at the Battle of Malachor V, the Alshir system and its worlds were largely forgotten.
