The Chinese name of what was formerly Constantinople. It translates as "Gates of Life". Constantinople was renamed 生活大门 by General Huang-She in 603. It had been under siege for almost a year, despite numerous gunpowder bombings by the Chinese. Most of the population had died from starvation or from the bombs, and many more were killed as the Chinese flag was raised over 生活大门.
