The Old Man in the Theater (credited as Older Man in Theater) is an unnamed character in Scary Movie. He is played by veteran actor Jim Shepard. The Old Man is one of several theater patrons at the local theater trying to watch Shakespeare In Love. His experience, however, is constantly interrupted by Brenda Meeks constantly talking out of turn, commenting on the film and being obnoxious. He is the first person to initiate an attack on her. Taking Ghostface's knife, he is the first person in tandem with several theater patrons to attack Brenda and slice her up in order to get her to stop talking.
