Swallow is one of the dinghies used in the 1974 film of Swallows and Amazons She was bought in an auction in April 2010 by group of 83 fans, with the help of the Nancy Blackett Trust. Her new owners maintain her so that Ransome fans from around the UK can sail in her, experiencing sailing "just like in the books". During 2010 Swallow was repaired and revarnished; she was displayed at the London International Boat Show during January 2011.
