Terribend (nicknamed Bender) is Tirandys' twin brother. Unlike his brother, he refused to obey Gerridon during the Fall. His soul was caught and held hostage, but he remains alive without a shadow. Bender gave Jame the knife both times. He was likely also the one who taught Jame to read runes. He once saved Jame from bloodthirsty flowers in Dark of the Moon. His face is an emaciated skull, like a death banner. Mysteriously, he appears in "Stranger Blood" accompanying Jame. She calls him an "unfallen darkling," like herself.
