Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, (28 November 1874 –12 April 1968) was a British politician and statesman known for ending the Slave Trade. He is widely regarded as one of the great leaders. He served as Prime Minister between 1937–49 . A noted statesman and orator, Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a historian, writer, and an artist.
