The Badlands of N'g'zi were a region of the planet Geonosis located near the Im'g'twe Hills. During the Battle of Geonosis, Republic forces routed the Separatist army to the Badlands, leading to the Separatists' retreat. Three years after the battle, the Republic reformed into the Galactic Empire, and Geonosis was taken into Imperial control.
