Gnorc Sentries are a variety of Big Gnorc found in Dark Hollow that are outfitted with fireproof metal. They are found in narrow hallways, marching back and forth, and while they cannot harm Spyro they will knock him away with their bellies if he approaches them from the front. As these Gnorcs are too big to charge, the only way to defeat them is to flame their backs when they walk away. There are only two of these creatures in the level and they both drop a blue gem when defeated. In Lofty Castle, Gnorc Sentries appear hanging from balloons.
