Ingraham was a Mesan citizen and slaver. Around 1920 PD, she served as an engineering technician aboard the slaving vessel Luigi Pirandello. She and fellow tech Voigt were known for mistreating slaves, so when their ship was intercepted by a Royal Torch Navy frigate in the Balcescu System in 1922 PD, the captain ordered them to be detained in order to keep them from getting the entire crew summarily executed. When Janice Wendel and another guard arrived in Engineering and informed them that they were under arrest, Ingraham started screaming at them. In turn, Wendel, who had had trouble with Ingraham for years, shot her in the head with her pulser. (CS3)
