Veruna was a human male who served as the king of the Mid Rim planet of Naboo right before the reign of Queen Padmé Amidala. A philosopher named Sio Bibble was elected Governor of Naboo under Veruna's rule. During his thirteen-year reign, Veruna established a vast royal library collection in a tower at the back of the Theed Royal Palace.
