The Alphans were a species of single-celled organisms which were native to planet Onyius II. While the Alphans reproduction rate were considered to be rather high, their metabolism was very poor and their resulting life-spans were shortened. The Alphans were also engaged in a length war with another species of single-celled organisms known as the Omegans.
