The 5 Rentenpfennig was used before the World War during Germany's rapid inflation for transfering currencies. The obverse features Deutsches Reich Rentenpfennig and a circle with a 5 in the middle. On the reverse is a triangle of wheats, which has the date on the bottom and mintmark above.
