Joanne McCartney is a Labour Party politician and since May 2016 has been Deputy Mayor of London. She was elected to Enfield London Borough Council in 1998 to represent Weir Hall Ward, Edmonton. Following boundary changes in 2002 she became a councillor for Palmers Green Ward, standing down at the 2006 borough elections.
