Olin Bucharov was a seasoned UIR soldier who fought throughout the Pendulum Wars as part of the 323rd Specialist Group, which he would eventually come to lead. In 0 A.E., during the Fall of Kobrut, Bucharov would convince his men in the 323rd to desert their post in the name of survival, leading them to the mountainous region of Wayzatti where they would defend themselves against the new Locust threat for the next seventeen years. In 29 A.E., he would finally retire, placing his son Zev in command of the 323rd.
