Milky Way bars were highly sought after snacks by all forces of the galaxy. It was invented in 19 BBY. Though the bar was named "Milky Way", it didn't bother anyone to investigate the naming of the bar. The first bar was brought to the galaxy by ET after one of his trips, along with Reese's cups and M&Ms, and the were replicated down the exact atomic structure, from its caramel ceiling love to the nougaty goodness of its center.
