Hagar joined the Red Barets in 3760, aged 16. When the paramilitary organisation got prohibited, he got a job in a security firm. He was the inspirer of a lot of former Red Barets to ship off to Lourenne in 3774 and 3775 to assist in the civil war. Since the Lodamese participants were barred to return to their country afterwards, he served in the Special Services of the army of Lourenne. After being allowed back into Lodamun, he arrived on November 7, 3783, almost 9 years after leaving Lodamun. On October 1, 3795 Hagar was inaugurated as 34th President of GDR of Lodamun.
