The Maddened Beast is a text on Animal by Gorog of Bjornaer, written late in the eighth century. Gorog was a prolific writer for a Bjornaer of that era, and was a formative influence in the Harmonist/Wilderist debate. He himself never fully sided with either position, taking the stand that it was the nature of a Bjornaer Magus to be torn between the two.
