Sarig is the dead God of magic. When Macros was dying of starvation, he made a pact with Sarig to become his avatar on Midkemia. Later on, Macros would rise to be the most powerful sorcerer. Macros attempted to merge himself with Sarig, however Pug was able to stop the process.
