The black dragon is the upgrade to the red dragon, the seventh-level creature of the Dungeon in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be found at the Upgraded Dragon Cave. With much higher attack, defense, speed and hit points than the red dragon, the black dragon is easily the strongest creature in the Dungeon army. It's completely immune to spells, beneficial as well as hostile, which can sometimes be a problem. The black dragon is one of the strongest creatures in the game, and a serious threat to any creature.
