Peter Prechtl is a contemporary German philosopher. Was professor of philosophy in Düsseldorf, Würzburg and Berlin. Author of "Lehrbuch Sprachphilosophie" (1998) and co-editor of "Metzler Philosophie Lexikon" (1st edition in 1995).
