James William Domoney (1851-23 March 1918) was a marine engineer and local politician. Born in Blandford, Dorset, he was the son of James Domoney, a solicitor's clerk, and by 1871 the family were living in Chelsea, London. In 1878 he married Fanny Augusta Walliker of Hampstead. By 1881 the couple were living in Penge, and he was working as a commercial clerk. By 1901 he was living in Battersea and was a civil engineer and employer.
