Cindy Fiorentino is an Earther journalist reporting about poor conditions in Mars. She fancies herself a courageous reporter who will stop at nothing to get "exciting" news. Noel Links has hinted over the course of her journey with the Links family that she and Leon are in a romantic relationship, despite both of them denying any form of attraction to one another. No hint of romance between the two is mentioned by the end of the series.
