The Chief of Operations or Operations Mangager usually holds the rank of Lieutenant or above (although there can be exceptions) and is the Department Head (DH) of the Operations devision. The OPM leads and coordinates all work done by the Operations Department on a Starship or Space Station. At times they might also manage the duties of the Engineering and Science Departments.
