Metal Gear Solid Existence was a title trademarked by Konami on September 19, 2008. This led to rumors that this was either the title of the next Metal Gear Solid game, or the title of the updated version of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (similar to Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence). However, no game has been released under this title. The true meaning behind the trademark wasn't acknowledged by Konami or Kojima Productions.
