The Australian Coalition for Equality (ACE) is a national-based lobby group in Australia advocating equal rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex people. It was launched on 13 August 2005, to commemorate the first anniversary of the Federal Parliament's passage of a bill amending the Marriage Act of 1961 so that it allowed only opposite-sex couples to marry. Its spokespeople are Rod Swift and Kelly Pilgrim-Byrne, both of whom are involved with Gay and Lesbian Equality (GALE) in Western Australia.
